Shepton Stallionette Picture Help

Can I order actual prints or enlargements of these pictures on real photo paper with real photo ink?
YES! Many photo pages even provide a way for you to order high quality prints on real photo paper with real photo ink right off the web and have them mailed directly to your home or you can pick them up usually in less than an hour! If pictures are available for order there will be a link that reads 'Click here to conveniently order high-resolution prints of pictures from this page!' at the top of that page. These high quality prints are provided by Walgreens and since they are ordered online the cost for a 4x6 is only 19 cents each or even less when they run periodic promotions!! This is a terrific, quick, affordable way to have high quality memories for you or your daughter's scrapbooks. We recommend the Walgreens in 75093 at Preston and Lorimar. Great quality and service! You can also have the prints mailed to you or someone else or even send the order to a Walgreens near family or friends anywhere else so THEY can swing by and pick up!

Can I download the high-resolution pictures uploaded onto the Walgreens pages?
The Walgreens albums DO offer a Get Hi-Res option on any picture uploaded there. Just click on the picture and look for the link to the right that allows you to download the Hi-Res photo. When uploaded the picture file size is made slightly smaller to allow faster uploads so are not the original high-resolution photos but plenty high enough for prints and enlargements.

How do I see these pictures bigger than they appear on the www.stettes.org photo page?
Many of the low-resolution pictures appearing on this site have been sized to fit on the pages better. The photos on the photo pages are thumbnails (sized down versions of the images) so the page loads faster. To see just one picture at a slighter bigger size, simply click on it. To get back to the photo page use your browser's back button. These are low-resolution pictures and not meant for making prints. Ordering from Walgreens from the link at the top of any web page or fromt he team Group Room on Walgreens  will allow you to order photo quality reprints.

How do I make a picture I like bigger than even it's normal size?
The pictures in this area are sized down for easy of display and download time while online. If you wish to make them larger than normal save them off as described above and then put them in a word processor or other desktop tool like Word, PowerPoint, Publisher.. and drag the picture handles from the corners to make them bigger or smaller. One warning is that making the pictures much larger will make them more grainy.

What can I do with the lower resolution pictures on the www.stettes.org website?
Right mouse button over any image on these photo pages or linked to from the thumbnails on a photo page that you wish to save to your computer for use later. The pictures on the website are low-resolution and not meant for printing. Just for fun. Use the Walgreens link at the top of each page to get high-resolution pics. Be sure to click with your left mouse button on the thumbnail image on the photo gallery page to bring up the slightly larger picture. When the bigger, individual picture is displayed click on that picture with your right mouse button and then select Save Picture As with your left mouse button to save off the picture. You can also right mouse button on the image and copy to your clipboard and then paste it into an open document you may be working on. These pictures will not be out on the site forever and older ones will drop off to make room for new pictures so you may wish to save off the pictures you want to see later as soon as possible. One fun thing you can do with these pictures is copy and paste them into a document and size and move them around to make a big collage of many pictures. Why does my AOL try to save off the pictures as .ART files instead of .JPG?
If you use AOL it may try to download the file with a file type or extension of .ART. These are .JPG files and there is a setting in AOL you can change in your WWW preferences to fix this. Go to My AOL, then click on Preferences and click on the WWW button. In the Web Graphics tab setting uncheck the Use compressed Graphics check box. You may need to refresh the page after you've changed this for the change to work.
